Autograph letters signed from A.C. Swinburne, Henley-on-Thames and London, to various recipients [manuscript], 1876-1892.

Recipients: Theodore Watts-Dunton and Herbert Beerbohm Tree. (1), written from Holmwood and sent to Watts at 3 Putney Hill, concerns Maurice Morgann's Essay on the dramatic character of Sir John Falstaff. Also discusses the relationship between the works of Shakespeare and Rabelais. (2), written from The Pines and sent to Tree at the Haymarket Theatre, encourages Tree to think of reviving Two noble kinsmen and Arden of Feversham. Both letters accompanied by envelopes.
